# NFT staking

**To mint an NFT on the** Truth **Pay platform, the user needs to follow these steps:**

1. Connect to the Truth Pay platform using a supported wallet.
2. Choose the NFT amount.
3. Press the 'mint' button.
4. Confirm the transaction and wait for it to be processed.
5. Once the transaction is confirmed, the NFT is minted and added to the user's wallet.

**To add NFTs to staking on** Truth **Pay follow these steps:**

1. Access the NFT staking feature on the platform.
2. Choose the NFTs to stake and enter the desired amount.
3. Confirm the stake and wait for the transaction to be processed.
4. Start earning Truth Pay tokens as dividends.

When the user adds their NFTs to the Truth Pay NFT Staking, they will receive dividends in Truth Pay tokens for a period of 30 days. These dividends are calculated based on the number of NFTs staked and the current market value of Truth Pay tokens. The user can check their earnings at any time in their dashboard. After 30 days, the user can choose to unstake their NFTs and claim their dividends, or they can restake for another 30-day period. 

After 30 days of staking, the NFT is automatically burned, which means that it is permanently removed from circulation. This helps to reduce the supply of NFTs in the market, increasing their rarity and potentially increasing their value. The user then receives their staked NFT back along with the Truth Pay tokens earned during the staking period. This process is designed to incentivize users to stake their NFTs for a set period and to reward them with tokens for doing so.
